DISCLAIMER

1.The participant wishes to participate in the activities organised by Belfast International Watersports Ltd T/as Lets Go Hydro, whose registered office is at Belfast International Watersports, 12-14 Cornmarket, Bt1 4DD

2.The participant acknowledges and accepts: That their participation in the water sports activities provided by Belfast International Watersports Ltd entails known and unknown risks that could result in physical or emotional injury, paralysis, death or damage to themselves, to property or to third parties.

3.The participant warrants that they do not have any medical condition nor have had any medical condition, which may make their participation in the activities more dangerous or may increase any risk of injury to them or others, or make it more likely that they will be involved in an incident which could result in any form of injury during the activity.

4.The participant further acknowledges that the water sports activities provided by Belfast International Watersports Ltd require you to be able to swim competently and to be confident in open water, to have a reasonable level of fitness and ability, which the participant acknowledges they possess; that the activities provided by Belfast International Watersports Ltd are not available to pregnant women and that by accepting these terms participants confirm that they are not pregnant.

5.The participant agrees that they shall not participate in any activities provided by Belfast International Watersports Ltd unless they shall have undertaken Belfast International Watersports Ltd’s safety and induction procedures and processes in relation to the activities and confirm that they will comply with these at all times whilst on the premises from which the activities will be carried out.

6.The participant acknowledges and agrees that they are responsible for their own safety and the safety of others whilst partaking in activities. The participant understands that the activities maybe undertaken without direct supervision following safety instructions and agree that they will at all times wear any protective equipment provided by or required by Belfast International Watersports Ltd to be worn and will ensure that they comply with all instructions given at any time during the activities by Belfast International Watersports Ltd or any of its staff, media or signage.

7.The participant agrees that they will only carry out moves and tricks that are within their skill level and of which they are able to retain control of at all times. That they will also only use features that they of the ability to use within their skill level. Moves and tricks and use of features are performed entirely at the participant’s own risk and will not hold Belfast International Watersports Ltd liable for any injury they may attain whilst partaking in these activities.

8.The participant agrees that they will comply with all age restrictions specified by Belfast International Watersports Ltd from time to time. The participant acknowledges that if they do not comply with any age restrictions or any other requirements put in place by Belfast International Watersports Ltd from time to time they will not be able to participate in the activities and agree that they will promptly withdraw upon request by Belfast International Watersports Ltd.

9.The participant consents and agrees to the use by Belfast International Watersports Ltd of CCTV monitoring for training, health and safety and security purposes. Belfast International Watersports Ltd consents to the participant and members of their group undertaking photography for their own non-commercial purposes only and for no other purpose whatsoever.

10.The participant for themselves and as parent or legal guardian of any accompanying children gives consent and agrees to Belfast International Watersports Ltd photographing and/or recording the participant and any accompanying children and to use any such photographs and/or recording solely and only for Belfast International Watersports Ltd advertising and promotional purposes. The participant for themselves and any accompanying minors hereby waives any right to inspect or approve the use of any such material and acknowledges and agrees that the rights to us such material shall not require payment or compensation of any kind to be made by Belfast International Watersports Ltd to the participant and/or any accompanying children.

11.The participant acknowledges that Belfast International Watersports Ltd is not and shall not be liable for any damage or loss to themselves, any third parties or property incurred whilst the participant is undertaking the activities or are on the premises belonging to Belfast International Watersports Ltd.

12.The participant agrees and promises to accept to be responsible for any and all risks existing and subsisting in the activities. They acknowledge that their participation in the activity is voluntary and that they elect to participate despite of the risks and agree to accept the consequences of so doing.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

We aim to provide a relaxed holiday or day out for families and groups alike. To ensure the maximum enjoyment of your break and that of all our other guests, and to ensure the good management of the resort and for the benefit of all who use it, the following terms and conditions are in place and these for the agreement between us for your occupation of a glamping pod, camping pitch or self-catering accommodation.

 

In these terms & conditions, the expression “you”/”your” means the tent owner and/or occupier and/or occupier of a pod or self-catering accommodation and the expression “we”/”us”/”our” means the resort owner and/or manager. The expression “children” means persons from the age of 4 years to 17 years.

 

We reserve the right to ask guests who contravene these terms & conditions or the site rules or, who in any other way are behaving in a manner likely to cause distress or nuisance to us or to any other visitors or customers of ours, to leave the resort immediately. In these circumstances the holiday will cease, and we shall not be liable for any extra costs incurred by you and no refund will be given.

 

BOOKING YOUR ACTIVITY/STAY

 

Online booking is required at www.letsgohydro.com . For group bookings and any other queries please email us at [email protected] . Please indicate the date and size of your party and provide your contact details.

Full payment will be required at the time of booking online via our website.

The person who makes the booking is responsible for the booking and warrants that they are over 21 years of age and that the party will not exceed the numbers stated in the booking.

 

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE

 

Tent pitches, caravan pitches and pods are available from 3.00pm on the day of arrival, while self-catering accommodation are available from 4pm. All accommodation must be vacated by 11.00am on the day of departure.
 

The latest arrival is 8.30pm. As a courtesy please inform the site if your arrival time is due after 6pm to allow for staff organisation.
 

Your pitch number or pod and directions to it, will be confirmed to you via email prior to your arrival.
 

The campsite and pods must be left clean and tidy and vacated by the times set above.
 

Every endeavour will be made to allocate guests the pitches or pod of their choice however it must clearly understand that acceptance of a booking is not conditional on the allocation of a particular pitch or pod.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

 

Cancellation of the booking by you.

 

You may cancel your stay/activity at any time. Cancellation will be effective on the date it is received by us. However, cancellation charges are payable based on the number of days’ notice we are given as follows:

 

Camping Pitches

Up to 2 weeks before stay         50% refund

Under 2 weeks before stay        Loss of full amount

 

Pods & Self-catering Accommodation

Up to 4 weeks before stay         50% refund

Aqua Park, Cable Park, Summer Scheme, Drive-in Cinema or other activity or service

Cancellation of the booking by us. 

 

If we are unable to provide the booked stay and have to cancel before the stay is due to start, you are entitled to a full refund of the money you have paid.
 

If the activity or service is unable to proceed due to closure (other than weather cancellation – see 3.3 below), you are entitled to a full refund of the money you have paid.
 

If you are ejected from the resort for a breach of one of the terms and conditions or resort rules, no refund will be payable.

 

Cancellation of activity due to adverse weather conditions.

 

From time to time, it might be necessary to remove use of certain obstacles from the Aqua park due to high winds or other operational reasons, while the rest of the park still operates. In this instance customers will not receive any refund.
 

If adverse weather such as lightning or high winds necessitate us to close the Aqua Park, Cable Park or stop water activities for a period on short notice. In this instance customers that where either on the water or who are not able to start their activity will receive credit on their Let’s go Hydro account or a voucher to be used on a future date. No refunds will be issued.

 

GROUP BOOKINGS

 

We cater for groups and couples. We also reserve the right to refuse any booking.

 

VISITORS

 

Day visitors must leave their car in the main car park.

Visitors must adhere to the resort rules and are subject to the same ejection policy as guests.

 

BEHAVIOUR STANDARDS

 

You must act in a courteous and considerate manner towards us, our staff and other guests.
 

You must comply with the resort rules which are available on our website.
 

Children must always be supervised properly by a responsible adult, so they are not a nuisance or danger to themselves or others. Children must not play in or around the toilets or between or near tents or pods. Any damage caused to resort facilities or tents will be the responsibility of the children’s parents or guardians. Children must not play in or near the culvert along the edge of the resort or near the water’s edge.
 

Bicycles must be ridden on responsibly in the resort.
 

Ball games are only permitted on the grass area.
 

No music, singing or other noise which may cause a nuisance to other occupiers of the resort shall be permitted between the hours of 10.30pm and 8am and at all other times we would ask you to be considerate and not cause or create any undue noise or disturbance.
 

You should leave the areas of the resort, toilet blocks and pods that you have used in a clean and tidy condition.
 

Please place litter in the bins provided and recycle waste items wherever possible.

 

Tents and awnings must be sited so to allow site employees a clear passage with grass mowing equipment.

 

No firearms or offensive weapons to be kept or used on the resort at any time.

 

The use of generators is not permitted.

 

Permission must be requested for use of washing lines and rotary driers.

 

Customers must not put rubbish, detergents or any other material which might block the septic tank or sewage system down the toilets. This would include but is not limited to household wipes, nappies, and sanitary products; even if the manufacturer’s information states that they are suitable for being flushed away. If you are in any doubt, please seek clarification as to whether it is acceptable to dispose of certain items down the toilets.
 

Campfires are not allowed on the resort, and barbecues and chimineas are only allowed on the gravel area of your pitch or designated areas.

 

Anyone found to be damaging resort equipment (for example picnic benches, patios etc.) will be liable for any costs incurred.

 

No log, branches, twigs and similar may be removed for any purpose from any hedges surrounding the resort as our wildlife rely on this habitat.

 

All pods and buildings have a non- smoking policy and you must not smoke in or around any pods or buildings on the resort.

 

No cooking is permitted inside the sleeping pods. Guests will have access to a service kitchen.

 

You must not commit any criminal offence at the resort or undertake any criminal activity.

 

You must not commit any acts of vandalism or nuisance.

 

You must not use any unlawful drugs.

 

You must not carry on any trade or business at the resort.

 

VEHICLES

 

All tents/units and vehicles must be stationed following the directions of our staff. Failure to do so may result in you being asked to re-site your vehicle or unit/tent.

 

Commercial vehicles and vans are only permitted at our discretion.
 

The speed limit on the resort is 5mph and this must always be observed.
 

All vehicles must conform to the Road Traffic Acts and must have current tax, MOT and insurance. The provisions of the Highway Code apply to all roads on the resort.
 

No recreational vehicles (including but not limited to motorised scooter/skateboards and nonroad legal motorised vehicles) may be used on the resort, except for mobility scooters.
 

Vehicle movement is prohibited between the hours of 12 midnight and 7am (except emergencies). If you require movement within this time, your car should be left in the main car park at the resort.

 

DOGS

 

Well behaved dogs only are permitted by prior arrangement with us. Such arrangements must be made at the time of booking.
 

Dogs must be kept on a short lead or under control at all times and must not be left unattended on the resort at any time.
 

If whilst out walking within the Resort your pet happens to foul, you must lift/remove the faeces and dispose correctly in one of the many marked bins around the site. Please be mindful of this and considerate to others, Hydro is a family friendly resort and we want everyone to be able to enjoy it fully.
 

Dogs may be permitted entry to our Glamping Pods. However, approval must be sought for this before arrival and additional charges apply. please email [email protected]
 

Pets are not permitted inside our Self-Catering Accommodations. This includes Safari Lodges, Boat House, Lake Pod, Forest Domes, Iglu Huts, Viking Huts, River House or River Cottage.
 

The permission for a dog may be withdrawn at any time if the dog is, in our opinion, causing a nuisance on the resort and if you are requested to do so by us, the pet must be removed from the resort immediately.
 

No other pets are permitted on the resort.

 

EJECTION FROM THE RESORT

 

We reserve the right to ask any person who is in breach of any of these terms & conditions or any of resort rules or who in any other way behaves in a matter likely to cause distress or nuisance to us or other visitors to leave the resort immediately. In these circumstances the holiday ceases and we shall not be liable for any extra costs incurred by you.

 

LIABILITY

 

We accept no responsibility for any loss or damage that may occur to your tent, car or associated

property whilst on the resort, except where such loss or damage has arisen as a result of our negligence of a breach of our duty to you.

 

DATA PROTECTION

 

The information taken at time of booking is required to be collected for the purposes of processing your reservation with us. We may process your data to keep you informed of our activities and to keep you updated with news, offers and other information that may be of interest to you. If you do not want us to use your information for the marketing purposes described in this paragraph, please let us know.

 

ACTIVITY REGULATIONS

 

I understand and accept that:

 

in participating in watersport activities that there is an element of danger and risk of injury to myself, which I undertake at my own risk; and in participating in watersport activities that there is an element of danger and risk of injury to others and consequently undertake to use the company's equipment and facilities (the facilities") and to conduct myself while on the company's premises in a sensible and responsible manner and in compliance with all notices, instructions and directions as published or displayed from time to time and in compliance with any instruction given to me by any authorised person in the company's employment or control (an "authorised person"). I have read and acknowledge that conduct of the type set out in Section 12.3 below would amount to a breach of this paragraph.

 

I confirm that I will not use the company's cable skiing facility without:

 

having attended a first timer's training session; or. meeting the minimum standard (as defined in section 12.3 below);  I am in good state of health and free from any injury, medical condition, disease or illness which may be aggravated by participating in water sport activities or which may make it unsuitable for me to participate in such activities; and I will not use the company's facilities while under the influence of any drugs or alcohol.

 

The minimum standard for cable ski use without Let’s Go Hydro qualified instruction is as follows:

 

The ability to swim 50m unassisted; and
 

The ability to complete two laps of the cable ski facility on a kneeboard to the satisfaction

of the person operating the cable ski.

 

The following basic safety rules are drawn to the user's attention and in entering this agreement the user agrees not to breach the same:

 

All cable users MUST:

 

Let go of the handle when their path is obstructed
 

Avoid using the facilities in a manner which might endanger other persons using the facilities including skiing close to fallen skiers.
 

Exit the cable in the designated place - between the two white buoys or such other place as may from time to time be designated
 

Refrain from using the facilities under the influence of drugs or alcohol
 

Refrain from using ramps, sliders, and kickers without the go ahead from the cable operator, and a crash hat
 

Obey safety advice and signage and all instructions given to them by authorised personnel
 

Refrain from instructing or attempting to instruct other users on the cable ski
 

Treating the company's property and the facilities with respect and care 

 

This is not intended to be an exhaustive list of safety rules. The company reserves the right to ask you to leave the facilities without refund if you break any of the above mentioned rules or behave in a manner which in the opinion of the any authorised person represents a danger or potential danger to yourself or other users.

 

All Aqua Park users MUST:

 

(a) Obey safety advice and signage and all instructions given to them by authorised personnel

(b) Have the ability to swim 50m unassisted

(c) Be aged 7 or older, and 110cm or taller

 

I undertake to fully indemnify the company, its directors, agents and employees against any claim brought by any third party for loss, damage, injury or death which has been caused by any action or omission of mine or any act or omission of any child of which I am the lawful parent or guardian or any child whose supervision is wholly or partly my responsibility at the time of the relevant act or omission that would if they had agreed to the same with full capacity to do so amount to a breach of these terms and conditions or which amounts to negligence or a wilful act or omission.

 

I confirm that when accompanying a child or children I will comply and ensure that the child or children comply with the following:

 

General:

All children under the age of 17 years of age must be accompanied by an adult when on the company's property. The adult must remain on the site for the duration of the child's visit and must supervise them appropriately at all times;

(b) Changing rooms:

Young children up to 7 years may use either changing room under adult supervision.

Children over 7 must use the male or female changing rooms appropriate to their gender; and

(c) Let’s Go Hydro Cable Tow:

All children must be able to meet the minimum standard set out in section 12.3 above.

 

I understand that I need to arrive on site at least 30 minutes before the allocated time slot, and that failure to do so will result in the time slot being lost without compensation.

If you do not want us to use your information for the marketing purposes described in this paragraph, please let us know. We may also disclose your data to CampStead Ltd who may contact you, inviting you to complete a questionnaire and review regarding your stay at our park.
